Terms of Service

The Service

BizRisk provides risk reports on companies, directors, and domains using publicly available data. Reports are generated for due diligence and compliance purposes.

BizRisk also provides an AI Analyst that can summarize and explain relevant company, director, domain, and report context. AI outputs are generated from the data you provide and the sources we query, and they should be reviewed by a person before any important decision is made.

We do not provide legal advice, financial advice, or credit references. Reports are for informational purposes only and should not be the sole basis for any business decision.

We aim to keep the service available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use BizRisk. By registering, you confirm that you are using the service for legitimate business purposes and that any user inputs you submit are accurate to the best of your knowledge.

Acceptable Use

You may use BizRisk to conduct due diligence, screen suppliers, clients, or partners, and monitor entities for ongoing compliance purposes.

• Screen suppliers, clients, or partners before entering into commercial relationships
• Monitor entities for ongoing compliance purposes
• Submit only information you are authorised to provide, including any user inputs sent to the AI Analyst

You may not use BizRisk to investigate individuals for personal purposes, harass any person, violate the law, resell report data without permission, attempt to reverse engineer the platform, or submit unlawful or misleading instructions to the AI Analyst.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

If you are invited to a team workspace, you are responsible for how you use that access and for the actions of anyone you allow to act under your permissions.

If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, contact us immediately at support@bizrisk.uk.

Payments and Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

Data and Reports

Reports are generated using publicly available data. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but do not guarantee that data is complete, current, or error-free.

You are responsible for how you use report data, AI Analyst outputs, monitoring alerts, and any decisions made based on them.

BizRisk may combine public records, your user inputs, and automated analysis to produce reports and monitoring results. Those outputs are informational and may still require human review.

Intellectual Property

The BizRisk platform, its design, and its code are our property. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from any part of the platform.

Report content generated on your behalf may be used by you for your own internal business purposes.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, BizRisk is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or if we believe your use of the service poses a legal or reputational risk.

You may close your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting support@bizrisk.uk.

Nothing in these terms is intended to remove any non-excludable consumer rights that apply to you under law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
